Happy New Year 2016!

It's been hard to keep up with the blog with the last couple months of the year.  Thanksgiving and Christmas will always be our biggest season - but this year we put in the added excitement of a pop up shop at the Boston Public Market with two of our fellow bakers from CommonWealth Kitchen: Third Cliff Bakery & Tia's Cakes and Pastries

If you came by as a fan of Top Shelf Cookies, thanks for coming to find us and if you found us on a visit to the market, thanks for stopping and checking us out.

Boston Public Market was a wonderful experience for Top Shelf Cookies.  I was already a huge fan of the concept and a ton of the vendors there.  The Boston Food Community has been a great one to be welcomed into in the last year plus that Top Shelf Cookies has been in operation.  It was great to meet so many of the different vendors and talk about our industry and the market and the holidays.  So many of the vendors at the market were so fabulous to us and to me.  I loved getting to the market and my last day there I was truly sad to leave.

It was wonderful to get to meet so many new customers of Top Shelf Cookies as well.  It was great to have you all ask me about Top Shelf Cookies and show a real interest and appreciation for my cookies.  Getting all the feedback (good and bad) was so valuable to my business.  I cannot thank you all enough for taking a few minutes to try a sample, buy some cookies and chat with me.  For a small business like Top Shelf Cookies - anytime someone is thoughtful with their feedback it's immensely helpful!

I can't thank you all enough for your support in 2015.  Your enthusiasm for my cookies has only made me want to work even harder.  I feel insanely lucky to be able to follow my dreams and try to make a living at doing something that I truly love doing.

As we move into 2016, we know lots of people are resolving to slim down - so we are for a little bit as well.  We are going to take the next couple of months to do some business planning and slim down our menu and figure out our farmers markets for the summertime!  So, for the next little bit, online ordering through the website is the best way to get your Top Shelf Cookies fix.  As always, your thoughtful feedback is appreciated and can be directed to heather@topshelfcookies.com
