Happy New Year Cookie Friends!
Here we are in January 2023, and we recognize that we have a LOT of new COTM subscribers this month because they were gifted COTM for the holidays, so welcome aboard!
This month’s cookie is a beer cookie. It starts with our brown butter dough, which we use in some year round favorites like Hazel’s Chocolate Chip & PB Toffee Treasures! Browning butter is a great way to get a different flavor out of the butter and it’s worth every second, I promise!
We add a little Winter Lager and orange zest, cinnamon and ginger and we finish it off with white chocolate chips. It’s a delightful cookie that we bring out for the holidays, but we felt like it deserved to hang on through January. It’s probably one of my favorites. Just really flavorful and yummy.
